Ron Janelle was born and raised in Grovetown, Georgia where he lives with his wife, Tina and their 2 sons, Dillon and Dawson. He has been in the construction field for 28 years. During high school Ron worked doing plumbing and went on to obtain his license as a Master Plumber in 1995. He operated his own plumbing company for 10 years before deciding to venture out into the building business. In 2005, he obtained his Residential License and founded IDK Homes, Inc. where he serves as President/CEO. Ron is a member of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta and the Georgia Plumbing Trade Association. He attends continuing education on a regular basis to stay up-to-date with the many changes in the home building industry. His years of experience in both fields give him a wealth of knowledge when it comes to building residential homes. A core Philosophy at IDK Homes is to provide quality housing for all stages of life. Tom Werner, CEO of Pierwood Construction Co. has been involved in the construction industry since 1978 and sets the tone for a team approach to building. He has been constructing single-family homes and commercial buildings since 1987. Tom is a Past President of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta and has been named Builder of the Year three times! Tom, his wife Susan and their son, Josh attend Wesley United Methodist Church.
Ken Richards, President and Architectural Designer, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Southern College of Technology. Ken is also a Past President and current Board Member of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta and has been strongly involved in every aspect of the day to day operations of Pierwood since 1993, continuously providing Pierwood with a progressive outlook. He was awarded the 2010 Builder of the Year. On the cutting edge of new dynamic designs, Ken stresses large open floor plans for today’s lifestyle. Pierwood takes great pride in being able to transform a client’s idea into a custom home. Ken, his wife Kim, and their daughters Caroline and Catherine also attend Wesley United Methodist Church.
